Staycation, Day 5

I spent the night with Jennifer and Jeremy on Thursday night so I could run some V-town errands and hit the road for Baxley that afternoon!  We slept in, had lunch at Chicken Salad Chick (YUM!), and then shopped around a bit.

I drove home in the pouring rain so I could be at Gathering Place band practice.  It turned into a night of worship.  AWESOME.  Love it when a rehearsal ends up being nothing but straight up worship.  :)

Sweet morning Karlynn cuddles!

Karlynn getting ready for shopping!

My sweet, grinning lunch date!
I think she loves me!  :)

Staycation, Day 4 - 4th of JULY!

The Fourth of July was my last full day with Matt, Nicole, and MC.  We had a lazy morning (recurring theme), we did MC's one-month photo shoot, I packed up and loaded up, and then we drove to Valdosta to hang with Jenn and Karlynn.  Sadly, Jeremy had to work.  Jenn cooked us an AWESOME farm-grown meal and then we watched Wild Adventures' fire works from the Benevolence Baptist parking lot.  Loved getting to hang out with some of Jenn's family and church family.  Always fun.

Early morning snuggle time.  Yeah... I might've spoiled her a little bit.
Give me a break.... it was my last day with her for a bit!

Cute faces during tummy time/play time!

Looking oh so grown up propped up in her crib!

Is this not the most precious face?!?!  She looks so big!

A fun collage of her one-month photo shoot!
We got some hysterical shots!

Worn out baby girl!

Mommy and MC ready for the 4th!

MC and K chilling in the kitchen while Jenn cooked!

My sweet Jenn and her Karlynn!

Me trying to "baby whisper" Karlynn.  It might not have worked.  Haha.

All the ladies!

Red, White, Blue and I Love You!
Love this picture of me and my girls!

This is how impressed K was with the fireworks!
Shannon and Jenn were photo-ready, though!

Last minute MC-loving and a photo op with Nic!

Karlynn looking like a mermaid after bath time!  :)

Staycation, Day 3

Day 3 of my little staycation was perfection!  I worked on grad school work, Jenn and Karlynn came to visit, we shopped downtown, and then I cooked dinner for the whole crew.  Good times!

Hillsong Live's Glorious Ruins album released on Tuesday, so I spent some time listening to it while I worked.  I shut myself up in MC's room so I could try to focus!  :)

MC came to visit for a bit while I worked!

This sweet dumplin', Karlynn, and her Mommy (Jennifer) came to visit!  Three of the Four Seasons and both Seasonings reunited!  (Seasons babies!)  We missed Bridgett!

I realized that I hadn't seen Karlynn in 8 whole weeks... half her life!  I freaked out!  Look at these beautiful eyes!  She's so gorgeous!  And look at that hair... I really think we might have some auburn hair in our future.  Hey - if I don't ever get to have a redheaded child, at least I might have a redheaded niece!  :)

This is the infamous Nanny Beth picture!  I was loving on MC while Nic was finishing getting read.  Jenn needed to go run to the car to get something, so she said "Nanny Beth can just watch the girls for a minute!"  And there it was.  I'm now Nanny Beth.  It'll be super fun to see what the girls actually call me one day.  :)

Finally ready to head Downtown for a little shopping...

Me and the girls in the backseat of the Tahoe.

Karlynn and MC... Karlynn looks bored and MC's out for the count.
They could care less about excursions.

Nic and MC ready to roll!  Literally.  (I crack myself up.)

Jenn snapped a pic of me cooking supper.  She said everyone needs a CB
in their life because I play with the babies AND cook!  Haha!

Karlynn's a girl after my own heart.  She loved looking at my new Tervis!

The girls being sweet while we ate supper family-style!

Getting some last minute K-love!  Good thing we were planning to hang out the next day, too!

Another group picture... because one's never enough!

Sweet future-BFFs touching toes!

Staycation, Day 2

Day 2 of the Thomasville Staycation included being seriously lazy, Molly Caroline's first trip to Publix, working on grad school work (kind of), a visit from sweet Stacy, and a celebration of MC's first four weeks!

Sweet morning snuggles...

MC's first trip to Publix!  She loved it!

A few essentials for study time: ice cream, Boursin cheese, and an ANCHOR TERVIS! Wooo!

A fun little visit with our friend Stacy!

Look at that sweet face!  :)
(See my abandoned MacBook back there?!?)

Birthday Cake Cupcakes to celebrate MC's first four weeks!

Thomasville Stay-Cation

I'm spending the week with Matt, Nicole, and sweet Molly Caroline!  I'm also going to get some good quality time with Jennifer and Karlynn, Stacy, and Casey!  Basically, there's a week of goodness headed my way.

It's crazy to me that Molly Caroline was born four weeks ago tomorrow!  Time is flying!  She's so sweet and precious!  Tonight we went to Tallahassee to eat Roadhouse for supper. Then Matt was sweet enough to feed MC in the car so we could run in TJ Maxx for a quick browse.  Then the whole crew sprinted through Target during the last 20 minutes before closing!  Good times!
This little sugar plum was waiting for me when I got to Thomasville!
Ready for her date night with Aunt CB and Mommy and Daddy
First trip to Roadhouse... like the good ole college days but BETTER!
Leaving the Roadhouse!  Me, MC, and Jacques the Peacock!
First trip to Target!  She loved it!  She's definitely a Seasons baby!
She's got me wrapped!  So sweet!
Sweet little cuddler!

Love this picture!  Matt had just swaddled MC for the night, and
she was just STARING at me.  I think she loves me.  :)
